this project was a commission through a class, and i started by researching the ISU design guidelines and getting the text and sponsors' logos. i drew the bat silhouettes in Illustrator and repositioned them until they drew the viewer's eye up to the date and time. it was the first time i had dealt with using sponsored logos and information, as well as anything for the university, so i liked being able to integrate them into my design. this ended up being used around campus on signs and outside of the science building as the advertising for the bat festival that year.
