my name is Elise Persinger, and i am a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in digital graphics, photography, and typography. i create work because i’m interested in being able to move across different kinds of design practices, especially the idea of using art as a way to communicate, advertise, and visually translate ideas. my process usually begins with a clear concept in my head, but it rarely stays the same by the time it’s finished as the work shifts and evolves as i build it, which is part of what keeps it interesting for me. even when my work takes on a more commercial form, i still see it as fully personal and an expression of my creativity, because every detail is chosen intentionally and reflects my own creative decisions. once i start a project, i tend to work straight up in one sitting until i find it 100% satisfactory, and if i have to edit it later, it’s just revisting.
