i initially wanted to create a linguistic travel guide after coming across one that i found poorly designed, confusing to navigate and lacking useful information. that led me to rethink what a guide like that could be, drawing from my own travel experiences and considering what i would have actually found helpful. using my knowledge of Croatian language and culture, i built the content with a stronger emphasis on cultural context rather than just the language itself. visually, i was inspired by 90s infographic design, aiming for something clear, minimal and professional but interesting and engaging. i chose a minimal white cover featuring the coat of arms, and also developed alternate versions for Bosnia and Serbia.
